Word of the Day: "Che tajo!" click to hear an audio clip means "That's nice!" in Italian. This all-purpose expression used, we're told, by youth can also be translated as "That's great!" or "That's cool!" Ironically, a "tajo" is actually a "scratch on the skin"! It's so interesting the way language changes... kind of like the way some Americans say "that's bad" when they mean it's really "cool."
